Job Descriptions
- Understanding of the installation plan of the project.
- Determining the time constraints to complete the job.
- Managing daily activities on the site.
- Timely supervision of work by subcontractors on site
- Ensuring the subcontractors are following the project schedule and product specification.
- Ensuring the materials used are as per the specifications.
- Provides high-quality client service delivery in relation to output produced for both internal and external clients.
- Working in collaboration with Engineers, Architects, Contractors, and other team members.
- Project coordination and document controlling as per project requirements (RFA, RFI, MR, DR).
- Prepare report, schedule, progress installation, and material (Daily, weekly).
- QA/QC Control for Installation.
- Handle inspection process (before, during & after installation).
- Prepare inspection forms and attend to all inspections with clients for the handover process.
- Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries.
- Handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol.
- Attend and participate in site meetings, take minutes of meetings (MOM) and issues to the relevant parties. parties
- (project emails and all concerned) within the next twenty-four (24) hours.
- Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance.
- Providing administrative support as needed and undertaking project tasks as required.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in facade projects.
- Preferably with previous experience with façade works – structural steel, curtain wall, skylight, metal works, inspection, calculation, etc.
- Effective communication, coordination skills and teamwork.
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
Skills & Proficiencies:
- Management skills – from the safety of the construction site, to the workforce, materials and strict project timescales,
- Site engineers manage a variety of different elements in the execution of a project.
- Problem solving – unforeseen problems are likely to arise, so you need to be able to quickly and effectively overcome difficulties to avoid missing deadlines.
- Negotiation skills – in order to maximise profit, site engineers should be able to negotiate the best prices for materials.
- Understand relevant building and health and safety legislation.
- Teamwork, communication and organization – with so many different people working on the same project, the project is certain to fail without effective teamwork and organization.
- Writing and analytical skills – site engineers are required to produce progress reports, so they need to have competent written skills.
- Physically fit – site inspections can be physically demanding (climbing ladders, for example), so engineers need to be mobile and have a reasonable level of fitness.

Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
