Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 2 years experience as a System Engineer or in a similar system administration role.
- Industry certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), are advantageous.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of server and network infrastructure technologies, including operating systems, hardware, and protocols.
- Experience in system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting for both Windows and Linux environments.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V, and containerization platforms like Docker.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices to secure system environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex system issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and end-users.
- Project management abilities to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Job Descriptions
- Upgrade and enhance the network performance monitoring and network management system.
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
- To do so if required by business requirements or HOD directives.
Working Hour: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Holidays: Saturday (Alternate), Sunday & Gazette Holidays
