Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, International Trade, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in agri-commodity exports, preferably rice.
• Knowledge of Myanmar export regulations and procedures.
• Strong coordination, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and export documentation systems.
• Ability to travel to mill sites and ports as required.
• Fluency in English and Myanmar (written and spoken).
Job Descriptions
• Rice Export is responsible for managing and executing the company’s rice export operations from its own rice mills located in various regions.
• The role ensures efficient coordination between the mills, logistics providers, regulatory bodies, and international buyers to achieve timely and cost-effective exports.
• The Trade Manager will be based at the Head Office and directly report to the Director (Operations).
• Plan, manage, and execute rice export activities in line with company policies and market demand.
• Coordinate with rice mills across different locations to ensure timely availability of export-quality rice.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs, and port authorities to manage logistics and documentation.
• Maintain strong relationships with international buyers and agents, ensuring fulfillment of contractual obligations.
• Monitor international rice markets, prices, and trends to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with all export regulations and documentation requirements (e.g., phytosanitary, certificates of origin).
• Prepare and present regular reports on export volumes, market conditions, and operational performance.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Quality Control, Finance, Procurement, etc.) for smooth export operations.
• Support the Director (Operations) with strategic planning, new market development, and risk management.
Working Hours: 9:000AM to 5:00PM
Holidays: Sunday & Public Holidays
