Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management (preferably in bakery, food production, or FMCG industry).
  • Knowledge of food handling and storage requirements (dry, chilled, and frozen).
  • Experience with inventory software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Proficient in MS (Word, Excel), Email & Internet.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good understanding of bakery ingredients and production requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Descriptions

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials.
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper temperature control in dry, chilled, and frozen storage areas.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials (flour, sugar, butter, yeast, eggs, etc.), packaging, and finished bakery products.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile variances with the accounting or production team.
  • Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) systems to minimize waste.
  • Monitor expiry dates, quality, and storage conditions of perishable and non-perishable goods.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse documentation, including GRNs (Goods Received Notes), delivery notes, and stock reports.
  • Use SAP or inventory software to record transactions and track stock movements.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing team for timely replenishment of materials.
  • Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including storekeepers, loaders, and helpers.
  • Plan and schedule shifts to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Enforce food safety and hygiene standards as per HACCP or GMP guidelines.
  • Ensure all materials are stored in appropriate conditions to maintain freshness and quality.
  • Conduct regular pest control checks and maintain safety of storage areas.
  • Comply with fire safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations.
  • Liaise with the production team to ensure timely supply of ingredients and packaging.
  • Work closely with procurement for material planning and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate with finance for stock valuation and audits.
  • Support logistics for inter-outlet transfers or deliveries to retail points.

Working Hours: 8:00AM to 4:00PM
Holiday: Sunday & Public Holidays
