About the Job
- The candidate will be responsible for in charge of crafting the business’s strategy and ensuring that daily operations run smoothly and must fulfill as well as critical challenges that come along with these tasks.
Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Operation Officer in Yangon Region, Myanmar.
- The Chief Operation Officer must to oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensure that procedures are being followed, and work to improve operational systems, processes and policies in support of the organization’s mission. Additionally, there must to provide guidance and coaching to team members, evaluate performance, and develop strategies that ensure that operations achieve or exceed business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and directs the daily operations of the business, including coordinating with business development, sales & marketing, business operation, logistics, human resources,
and finance department. - Meets with and reports to the CEO about the company’s daily operation, as well as about
the CEO’s plans for any upcoming adjustments and developments to business operations
strategy, company goals and objectives. - Helps support other senior executives and employees, including to advise on promotions.
- Develops and implements policies for daily operations, and communicates these policy
changes to department supervisors. - Ensures alignment with current company policies and goals, including creates yourself, as
well as those developed by the CEO and other executives.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in rice trading industry Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Operations Management, Management, or Supply Chain Management.
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the
organization, both verbally and in written form. - Experience working in a multinational and multicultural environment is an advantage.
- Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, and transportation is an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Working Hours: 8:30 AM To 5:30 PM
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
