Job Description
• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished and engaging video content.
• Utilize industry-standard software and editing techniques to create visually compelling videos.
• Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and execute video projects.
• Ensure that the final product aligns with the brand’s vision and objectives.
• Can create visually compelling content while ensuring strict adherence to copyright regulations on the relevant platforms.
• Stay updated and incorporate the latest video editing trends on digital platforms
• Capable of advising on camera operation and recording techniques to enhance the smoothness of the video editing process.
• Stay updated on industry trends and editing technologies to implement innovative ideas.
• Manage and maintain an organized library of assets, including footage, graphics, and audio files.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior editors when needed.
Job Requirements
• Any degree holder
• Certificate in Video Editing is a must.
• Proven work experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing editing skill across different genres and styles.
• At least 2-3 years’ experiences in video editing or related fields.
• Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• In-depth knowledge of video codecs, file formats, and compression techniques.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to bring innovative ideas to video projects.Experience with motion graphics, color correction, and audio editing is a plus.
• Leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
• Demonstrates ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
• Ability to produce quality work in a fast paced environment.
• Willing to learn new things and strongly believe in lifelong learning
• Must have a positive attitude with good manners and a professional mindset with a strong sense of commitment and responsibility
• Good at English skills in both written and verbal
