Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B. Com)
• ICI Level I and DIR IFR certified
• Minimum age: 30 years and above
• At least 5 years of solid experience in tax accounting or related field
• Strong understanding of Myanmar tax laws and government procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and e-filing systems
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines under pressure
Job Responsibilities
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax payments and returns through the e-filing system.
• Review financial transactions and supporting documents for tax returns across all company entities.
• Prepare and maintain all necessary tax documentation and respond to data requests in a timely manner.
• Liaise with government tax authorities and auditors; provide necessary support to external audit firms on tax-related matters.
• Monitor updates and changes in Myanmar tax laws and regulations, and advise management on their implications and required actions.
• Ensure timely and accurate updates of tax-related information with the tax office for each company.
• Maintain and regularly update the company’s tax database and related records.
• Possess strong knowledge of Myanmar Tax Law, including OAS and SAS systems, as well as commercial tax, income tax, and other statutory obligations.
Working Hour: 8:30 AM -5:30 PM
