Group Operations Manager / Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Position Overview: The Group Operations Manager / COO will oversee and optimize operational processes across all companies within the Group. This role focuses on driving business performance, implementing strategic plans, and ensuring continuous operational improvement in alignment with goals established by the CEO and Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities
- Group Operations Management
- Oversee the overall daily operations of all companies within the Group.
- Coordinate and ensure smooth, effective operational workflow across each subsidiary.
Business Performance
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and overall business metrics for all Group entities.
- Implement necessary corrective actions to ensure targets and strategic objectives are met.
Strategy & Business Planning
- Execute strategies and business plans established by the CEO and Board of Directors.
- Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to drive business growth and enhance profitability.
People & Leadership
- Lead, direct, and coordinate cross-functional management teams and department heads.
- Evaluate performance, accountability, and operational effectiveness across leadership teams.
Cost & Resource Management
- Optimize the allocation and utilization of human, financial, and material resources across the Group.
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities to increase operating margins and bottom-line profit.
Process & System Improvement
Regularly review and enhance business processes, SOPs, and management systems to maximize operational efficiency.
Risk & Compliance
- Monitor operational and business risks, deploying proactive mitigation strategies.
- Ensure full compliance with internal company policies, statutory regulations, and industry guidelines.
Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Deliver comprehensive progress reports to the CEO and Board on performance, key risks, and strategic opportunities.
- Present strategic action plans to support long-term growth and organizational alignment.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or relevant Master’s Degree is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Senior Management or Operations Management, with a proven track record of managing multiple companies or business units.
- Functional Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of business strategy, operational management, corporate finance, and talent leadership.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional leadership, decisive judgment, complex problem-solving abilities, and strong critical thinking.
- Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese is required.
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
