Qualifications and Skills Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity take-off.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and other related software
- Knowledge of quantity surveying principles and construction contracts.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Able to travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-off and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and design drawings from specifications.
- Prepare cost estimates and budgeting for civil engineering works. (Solar Mounting Structure, Control Powerhouse, Inverter Stand, etc.)
- Review tender documents, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Analyze quotations and prepare comparison sheets for subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist in tender preparation and contract documentation.
- Conduct site visits for quantity verification and project assessment.
- Verify subcontractor progress claims and invoices.
- Evaluate and manage variation orders and additional works.
- Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and contractors regarding quantity and cost matters.
- Maintain proper documentation for commercial and contractual records.
- Assist in project closing documentation.
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
