Job Description
• creates technical production drawings, shop drawings, and cutting lists for furniture and interior manufacturing.
Create accurate 2D layouts, elevations, section views, and joinery details using computer software.
• Prepare comprehensive fabrication packages for the factory floor.
• Calculate and generate exact material cutting lists (for plywood, MDF, solid wood, and laminates) to minimize waste.
• Work closely with the production team, project managers, and design directors to verify dimensions and resolve design-to-production discrepancies.
• Conduct on-site measurements and client consultations as needed..
Job Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related technical field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a Furniture Drafter or Detailer in furniture manufacturing.
• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & basic 3D).
• Familiarity with SketchUp (with V-Ray or Enscape) for modeling or visualizations is often a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of furniture construction methods, joinery techniques, materials, and hardware fitments
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
