Job Descriptions

• The plant and Facility equipment is operate and maintained safety through the implementation of the EH&S programs and that the equipment is in always in a safe condition.
• The discipline of the persons working under his supervision, ie the conformance of the company procedures.
• The quality of work of the persons working under his supervision. – Good housekeeping is maintained within the Plant & Facility area.
• Manage all material usages and maintenance cost within the targets.
• Analyze and determine the causes of equipment failure or over consumption of material and ensure that the necessary corrective/ preventive action is taken on time.
• Schedule and execute the PM&R Program of the Plant & Facility equipment. Develop and implement new and improved methods for optimizing the use of equipment material and manpower.
• Appraise his subordinates annual and make recommendation to the management.
• Identify training requirements of subordinates and if capable the training or request the required training so that they are most effectively utilized and developed.
• Liaise and manage contracted services for the Plant & Facility equipment to ensure it is at a competitive cost, good quality and to the required schedule. As and when required to support manufacturing activities as directed by Plant manager or Technical manager.
• Ensure facility conformance with all applicable local and corporate environment, health, safety, laws, regulations, policies and guidelines. Coordinate/conduct EHS training for staff. Ensure that all training is documented as required by corporate guidelines and that records are property maintained.
• Communicate EHS alerts to all employees.
• Perform Periodic facility EHS inspection.
• Monitor follow up and corrective action resulting from EHS audits and inspections.
• Participate in accident investigation and reporting.
• Promote positive safety attitude and behavior and safety campaign.
• Identify opportunities for hazardous waste reduction.
• Maintain the emergency contingency plan for the facility. Coordinate/Organize safety meeting and actions.
• Ensure that the employees wear appropriate personal protective equipment and that all affected employees receive proper training in the use of equipment.
• Ensure that necessary safety equipment is provided and rules for use are published and observed.
• Drive through other relevant assignment and Energy saving initiatives.
• Liaise with local safety, environmental, health government departments.

Job Requirements

• Any Graduate or Graduate in a Mechanic of Electrical subject.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in EHS or relevant Fields.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Conscientious, highly motivated with excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to multi task.
• Eager to devel himself.

Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Holidays: Saturday Half, Sunday & Public Holidays
