Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (degrees in International Trade, Logistics, or Supply Chain are preferred).
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Import Licensing and using government trade portals.
- Strong knowledge of local import laws, customs clearance protocols, and HS codes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and official email communication.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with government officials.
Job Descriptions
- Apply for and secure Import Licenses and permits via the official government portal (e.g., TradeNet 2.0 system).
- Prepare, verify, and organize essential shipping and licensing documents, including Proforma Invoices,
- Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin.
- Coordinate with relevant ministries and technical departments to obtain necessary recommendation letters or regulatory approvals (such as FDA, Myanmar Food and Drug Board, or Ministry endorsements).
- Monitor and stay updated on changing import/export regulations, customs tariffs, and trade policies to report to management.
- Liaise with the Ministry of Commerce, Customs Department, and other government authorities to ensure smooth processing.
- Maintain a well-organized database and file archive of all issued licenses, utilized balances, and trade documentation.
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holiday
