Job Description
- Yangon (with required travel within the territory)
- The Supervisor will lead a team of Medical Representatives to achieve sales targets, ensure product availability, and maintain optimal outlet coverage in Yangon and surrounding areas. This role requires active field travel to coach the team, build high-level HCP relationships, and assist the Marketing Manager in executing promotional strategies.
1.Sales Target Achievement & Medical Detailing
- Drive the team to meet/exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective medical detailing and evidence-based product presentations.
- Conduct joint field visits with representatives to coach them on high-impact detailing techniques, objection handling, and closing skills.
- Monitor individual and team performance against sales KPIs; implement corrective action plans as needed.
2.Healthcare Professional (HCP) Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key doctors, pharmacists, and hospital decision-makers to drive brand loyalty and prescription generation.
- Organize small group meetings, CMEs, and one-on-one engagements to communicate product benefits and scientific data.
- Address HCP queries and feedback, relaying insights to the Marketing Manager to refine messaging.
3.Territory Operations & Coverage
- Manage territory operations to ensure consistent product availability at retail pharmacies, clinics, and hospital pharmacies.
- Plan daily/weekly travel routes to achieve optimal outlet coverage across Yangon (and travel zones).
- Monitor competitor activity, stock levels, and prescription trends; adjust coverage priorities accordingly.
4.Support to Marketing Manager
- Assist the Marketing Manager in rolling out promotional campaigns, patient education materials, and sampling programs.
- Provide field intelligence (HCP perceptions, competitor tactics, market trends) to help shape marketing strategies and product positioning.
- Coordinate logistics for medical symposia, speaker programs, and product launches in the assigned territory.
- Ensure alignment of field activities with national marketing plans and brand guidelines.
5.Reporting & Administration
- Submit timely reports on sales performance, call coverage, HCP feedback, and competitor activities.
- Monitor expense budgets for the team and ensure cost-effective travel and promotional activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 1–2 years as a Medical Representative or Senior Representative. Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets through medical detailing and relationship building.
- Territory knowledge – Yangon market expertise essential; willingness to travel regularly.
Working Hours: 9:00AM – 5:00PM
Holidays: Alternate Saturday and Sunday & Public Holidays
