Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Media Studies, or any degree holder with a strong interest in broadcast scheduling. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing schedules, data logs, and tracking reports.
  • Eagerness to learn, self-motivation, and strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately validate logs and schedules.
  • Excellent hearing acuity and the ability to work with headphones and computers for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled, air-conditioned studio or office environment.
  • Basic familiarity with radio automation software, audio editing software, or general media systems is an advantage but not required.
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and file-sharing networks to facilitate efficient media management and file transfers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules based on live broadcast and operational requirements.

Job Descriptions

  • Compile, verify, and schedule daily broadcast playlists and logs within the automation system to ensure uninterrupted on-air transmission and prevent dead air.
  • Ensure all playlist schedules are finalized, thoroughly reviewed, and deployed on time in accordance with broadcast deadlines.
  • Review commercial logs, promotional spots, and program materials, ensuring all assets are accurately timed and scheduled according to the broadcast plan.
  • Review and test audio and media file formats prior to scheduling to ensure optimal audio quality and compatibility with broadcast standards.
  • Monitor live transmission feeds, troubleshoot unexpected automation playback issues, and promptly implement emergency playlist adjustments when necessary.
  • Monitor and review daily on-air recordings to verify transmission quality, scheduling accuracy, and log consistency.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams on media workflows, live program transitions, and maintain stream signal stability during live broadcasts and special events.

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Holiday: Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays
