Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, or local equivalent like Myanmar Certified Public Accountant / ICMA) is strongly preferred
Minimum 5 to 8 years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
Proven working experience in manufacturing, trading, or logistics companies operating within a Myanmar SEZ (Thilawa preferred).
Hands-on expertise with Odoo ERP (specifically configuring and managing financial, accounting, and inventory modules).
Demonstrated, hands-on experience handling corporate tax compliance under Myanmar’s SAS (Self-Assessment System).
Advanced Excel modeling skills, strong grasp of IFRS/Myanmar Accounting Standards, and deep ERP literacy.
Exceptional English and Myanmar verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex financial data into clear executive slide decks and management presentations.
Strong analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to mentor junior finance staff while managing cross-functional relationships.

Job Descriptions

Manage all corporate tax filings and compliance under Myanmar’s Self-Assessment System (SAS), including Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Commercial Tax (CT), and Withholding Tax (WHT).
Ensure strict adherence to Thilawa SEZ tax incentives, regulations, compliance guidelines, and local statutory requirements.
Liaise with external tax consultants, auditors, and the Internal Revenue Department (IRD) or Thilawa SEZ
Management Committee (TSMC) during tax reviews or audits.
Design, implement, and strengthen robust internal financial controls, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and risk management frameworks to safeguard company assets.
Oversee general ledger accuracy, accounts payable/receivable, inventory valuation, and month-end/year-end close processes.
Conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, identifying cost-saving opportunities and operational inefficiencies.
Troubleshoot ERP discrepancies, coordinate with IT/implementation partners, and train finance team members on Odoo best practices.

Working Hour: 8:00A.M to 5:15 P.M.
Holiday: Saturday , Sunday and public holiday
