Job Description
• Monitor raw material stocks (timber, panels, hardware) to prevent production delays.
• Coordinate daily raw material disbursements from the warehouse to the factory production floor.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using the company’s ERP or stock management system.
• Plan and schedule local and regional transport for bulky finished furniture products.
• Work with local trucking and logistics providers to negotiate cost-effective freight rates.
• Oversee loading and packing procedures to ensure bulky or fragile furniture items are not damaged in transit.
• Handle import documentation for specialized hardware, imported wood veneers, or chemical finishes.
• Coordinate with customs clearance agents and port authorities at Yangon ports or Thilawa Port for timely clearance.
• Liaise with the production team, sales department, and external shipping agents.
• Resolve any delivery bottlenecks, transit damage claims, or supplier delays quickly.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain roles.
• Good command of spoken and written English to deal with international suppliers and overseas buyers.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with basic ERP or inventory software.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and route-planning skills.
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
