Job Requirements
Essential
- ACCA (at least affiliate level) or Myanmar CPA (full qualification)
- Minimum 10 years in accounting/finance, with at least 3 years in a senior management role
- Experience managing or consolidating financials across multiple legal entities
- Hands-on experience with Myanmar corporate income tax and commercial tax
- Fluent in Myanmar language; working proficiency in English
- Manufacturing or extractive industry experience preferred (plastics, mining, or F&B)
Preferred
- Experience as Finance Manager or above at a Myanmar conglomerate or group of companies
- Exposure to joint venture accounting and minority interest reporting
- Experience implementing accounting software in a Myanmar context (QuickBooks, Xero, or local systems)
- Banking relationship management experience
Job Description
Group Financial Management
- Design and implement a monthly consolidated management reporting pack across all six entities
- Produce monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements at group level
- Establish a quarterly board report for the Chairman covering performance, risks, and capital allocation recommendations
- Build and maintain a group-level cash flow forecast (13-week rolling)
Treasury & Banking
- Manage group-level banking relationships
- Oversee short-term cash deployment and borrowing decisions
- Maintain a consolidated view of all group bank accounts (~10+ accounts across entities)
- Review and optimize the group’s debt structure
Tax & Compliance
- Ensure full Myanmar corporate income tax compliance across all group entities
- Manage commercial tax filing and withholding tax obligations
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual statutory accounts
- Advise on tax-efficient structuring for new investments and transactions
Investment & Advisory
- Provide financial analysis for new investment decisions (land acquisitions, new company stakes)
- Maintain a group net worth statement for the Chairman
- Track personal borrowings, land investments, and minority stakes; prepare annual personal net worth statement
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Holidays: Saturday (Half), Sunday & Public Holidays
