Job Requirement
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in: Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industry Chemistry
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in: Water Treatment Plant, Combined Cycle Power Plant, Thermal Power Plant, Industrial Water Treatment, Laboratory Operation
- Understanding of RO and Demineralization (DM) systems.
- Ability to perform laboratory testing and sample analysis.
- Basic computer skills (MS Word and Excel).
- Ability to read P&IDs and operating procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts.
Job Descriptions
- Operate and monitor the Raw Water Treatment Plant (RWTP), Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant, Demineralized Water (DM Plant), and Neutralization System.
- Perform routine operation of pumps, valves, filters, and water treatment equipment.
- Monitor system operating parameters and report abnormalities immediately.
- Carry out equipment start-up, shutdown, and routine operational checks according to SOPs.
- Collect water samples according to the plant sampling schedule.
- Perform routine laboratory testing for: pH, Conductivity, Silica, Hardness, Chloride, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Turbidity, Irion, Sodium, Phosphate, etc.
- Test and monitor: Raw Water, RO Water, Demineralized Water, Boiler Feed Water, Condensate, Cooling Water, Closed Cooling Water, Wastewater and Effluent
- Prepare and replenish chemicals for water treatment systems.
- Monitor chemical dosing systems and adjust dosage according to operating requirements.
- Record daily chemical consumption.
- Handle, store, and dispose of chemicals safely in accordance with company procedures.
- Report low chemical inventory to the supervisor.
- Conduct routine inspections of laboratory instruments and water treatment equipment.
- Check pumps, dosing units, tanks, pipelines, filters, and analyzers.
- Identify equipment abnormalities and report them promptly.
- Assist the Maintenance Department during preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Record laboratory test results accurately.
- Maintain operation log sheets and water quality records.
- Report any out-of-specification water quality immediately to the Shift Engineer or Control Room.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly laboratory reports.
Working Hours: 8:00AM to 8:00PM (Rotate Shift)
Holiday: Two days per week
