Job Summary
- The Concrete Laboratory Manager will be responsible for managing lab staff, ensuring accurate testing and analysis of concrete materials, maintaining quality standards, and supporting research and development initiatives.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in concrete technology, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Management Diploma (or) MBA is preferable
- At Least (6+) Years’ experience in related field
- Extensive experience in concrete testing, mix design, and laboratory management.
- Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI) and testing procedures.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in laboratory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Description
- Oversee daily operations of the concrete laboratory, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Supervise and train laboratory technicians and staff, providing guidance on testing procedures and equipment use.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Plan, conduct, and supervise testing of concrete materials, including mix designs, compressive strength tests, slump tests, and other relevant procedures.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports, including recommendations for improvement or corrective actions.
- Work closely with the quality control team to monitor the quality of concrete production and address any issues that arise.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistent and accurate testing results.
- Ensure all testing is conducted in accordance with relevant standards (e.g., ASTM,ACI) and client specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of all tests conducted, including sample data, results, and calibration records.
- Coordinate with external auditors and inspectors to ensure compliance with certification requirements.
- Support research and development initiatives by providing technical expertise in concrete materials and testing methods.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop new concrete products and optimize mix designs.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in concrete technology and testing methods.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding laboratory testing services.
- Provide technical support to clients, answering questions and addressing concerns related to concrete testing and quality.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, including cost estimates for laboratory testing services.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned if required.
Working Hours: 8:00 A.M to 5:30 P.M.
Holidays: Saturday (Alternate)Sunday and Public Holidays.
