Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- CPA or ACCA (Part II) is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Prior experience in Real Estate, Retail, or Hospitality is a significant advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Accounting Software (iStock Software, etc,…)
- Expert level in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings during events or peak seasons.
Job Descriptions
- Chief Accountant is responsible for overseeing the entire financial accounting function of the Shopping Center.
- Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Coordinate and lead the annual budget preparation and periodic forecast updates.
- Supervise the accuracy of tenant billings, including base rent, service charges, and utility recoveries.
- Manage the accounts receivable process and ensure timely collection of dues to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Implement strict controls over daily cash collections from selling floors.
- Manage fixed asset registers, specifically regarding mall renovations and equipment maintenance.
- Develop and maintain internal control policies to prevent fraud and errors.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the accounting staff.
Working Hours: 9:00AM ~ 6:00PM
Holidays: One day per week
