Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/ Mechanical)
- At least (5) years of MEP design experiences
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM and other drafting software
- Strong understanding of MEP systems
- Familiar with building regulations and code of practices from authorities
- Familiar with high-rise building design and installation
Job Descriptions
- Lead and manage the Design Department, including Design Engineers, Senior Draft Engineers, Junior
- Draft Engineers, Site Drafters, and Design Coordinators.
- Plan, supervise, and monitor all design activities to ensure timely completion of project and tender requirements.
- Coordinate closely with Clients, Project Managers, QS Team, Procurement Team, Consultants, and
- Management regarding design requirements and project execution.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, shop drawings, and design deliverables before submission.
- Liaise with Professional Engineers (PE) and relevant authorities to obtain required design approvals and certifications.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, codes, regulations, and client specifications.
- Drive value engineering and design optimization initiatives to improve project profitability and cost efficiency.
- Support tendering activities by providing technical inputs, design clarifications, and engineering solutions.
- Conduct design reviews and constructability assessments to minimize site issues, rework, and design conflicts.
- Monitor design quality, drawing accuracy, and document control processes.
- Develop team capabilities through coaching, technical guidance, and performance management.
- Prepare departmental reports, resource planning, and design progress updates for management review.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of company design information, engineering calculations, project data, and commercial information..
Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Holidays: Sunday & Public Holidays
