Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
• Strong knowledge of international trade, shipping documentation, customs clearance, and multimodal logistics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Communicate in English.
• Experience working with international shipping lines or freight networks.
• Knowledge of customs regulations and port operations.
Job Descriptions
Business Operations & Management
• Oversee day-to-day operations of logistics and shipping activities (import/export, freight forwarding, multimodal transport, warehousing, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements in logistics and shipping.
• Implement and optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs) to increase operational efficiency.
Business Development & Client Management
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in local and international markets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, shipping lines, port authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and service agreements to prospective clients.
Financial Management
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures.
• Monitor revenue performance, margins, and profitability.
• Analyze business metrics to drive growth and operational improvements.
Team Leadership
• Supervise and develop a team of logistics and operational staff.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Strategic Planning
• Develop short and long-term strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Monitor market trends, competition, and industry developments to inform business strategies.
• Lead initiatives to adopt digital solutions and innovations in logistics and shipping.
Working Hours: 9:000AM to 5:00PM
Holidays: Sunday & Public Holidays
