Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum [2 to 5 years] of working experience as an M&E/MEP Site Engineer in building construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and MS Project (knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage).
- Strong understanding of local and international M&E codes and regulations.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to site environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Supervision: Supervise day-to-day M&E operations on-site, including electrical wiring, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV systems.
- Drawing & Specification Review: Review and verify M&E shop drawings, material submittals, and technical specifications before installation.
- Coordination: Coordinate closely with main contractors, sub-contractors, structural/civil engineers, and architects to resolve any site clashes or design conflicts.
- Quality Control (QA/QC): Inspect delivered M&E materials and workmanship to ensure they meet the project’s quality standards and specifications.
- Testing & Commissioning: Witness and supervise the testing and commissioning of all M&E systems (e.g., generator testing, pressure tests, electrical load testing) before handover.
- Progress Reporting: Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports, site diaries, and variation orders to the Project Manager.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all M&E installations and labor activities strictly follow site safety and health regulations (HSE).
Working Hours: Monday to Firday (9:00 to 5:00)
Saturday (9:00 to 1:00)
Holidays: Saturday (Half), Sunday, and Gazette Holidays
