Job Description
- Lead and supervise technicians during solar PV installation
- Install and connect: Solar modules, Inverters, mounting structures and DC & AC cabling
- Perform testing and commissioning activities
- Troubleshoot system faults and resolve technical issues
- Ensure work complies with approved drawings and specifications
- Enforce HSE and safety standards on site
- Report daily progress and site issues to the Project Engineer
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance works
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in solar PV installation or electrical works
- Experience supervising small technical teams preferred
- Good knowledge of: Solar PV systems (grid-tied / hybrid), DC & AC wiring, and Inverter installation and configuration
- Ability to read basic electrical drawings and SLD
- Experience using electrical testing tools
- Understanding of electrical safety procedures
- Knowledge of basic HSE practices
- Responsible and disciplined
- Strong hands-on skills
- Problem-solving ability
- Willing to travel to project sites
Working hours: 8:30AM to 5:00PM
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
