Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the FMCG (Consumer Goods/Food & Beverages) industry, with a proven track record as a Sales Manager or Assistant Sales Manager successfully managing distributors and regional sales teams.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Deep understanding and thorough knowledge of the FMCG market dynamics, wholesalers, and distributor relationships.
- Strong leadership, team management, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (for sales data analysis) and DMS (Distribution Management System) software.
Job Descriptions
- Formulate and implement annual and monthly sales plans and strategies aligned with company growth.
- Set achievable individual and team sales targets for the sales department.
- Motivate, guide, coach, and train the sales team to ensure high morale and productivity.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of sales staff, providing constructive feedback and corrective actions when necessary.
- Supervise the daily route plans and field operations of Sales Supervisors and Van Sales teams.
- Conduct joint field work during market visits to mentor team members and enhance their on-the-ground performance.
- Collaborate with the Trade Marketing team to design and execute monthly and seasonal sales promotions and schemes.
- Oversee and ensure excellent product merchandising, brand visibility, and the effective utilization of POSM (Point of Sale Materials) at retail outlets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts and major customers.
- Address and resolve customer complaints, issues, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and submit accurate weekly and monthly sales progress, revenue, and sales forecasting reports to senior management.
Working Hours: 9:00AM to 5:00PM
Holidays: One Day Per Week
