Job Descriptions
- Main Focus: Technical translation (Machinery & Production), Purchasing Negotiation, Supplier Sourcing.
- Provide accurate Chinese-Myanmar translation (verbal and written) for the Biscuits Production, Machinery, and Purchasing departments.
- Facilitate effective communication and high-level negotiation with Chinese suppliers, engineers, and partners regarding machine maintenance, technical issues, and raw materials.
- Assist in the Product Development phase by translating.
- Manage purchase orders, track shipments, and handle customs or logistics coordination with Chinese vendors.
- Accompany Chinese expats/engineers on the production floor to ensure smooth technical operations.
Job Requirements
- High proficiency in Chinese (HSK 5/6 or equivalent) with excellent speaking, writing, and technical translation skills.
- At least 1–2 years of experience as a Translator is preferred in an environment (FMCG/Food production experience is a plus).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to crack good deals with suppliers.
- Ability to understand technical terms related to machinery, food production, and raw materials.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to source new suppliers independently (Higher salary will be considered for candidates with strong sourcing skills).
- Flexibility to work cross-functionally between the purchasing office and the production factory floor.
- Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
