Purpose

  • Quantity Surveyor (Electrical) will support the solar design team to ensure projects are completed within budget and maintain profitability from the initial design and quotation stages through installation, testing, and final handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cost Estimation & Budgeting:
  • Develop detailed project budgets, including materials (solar panels, inverters, batteries), labor, transportation, and installation costs.
  • Tendering & Procurement:
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), develop bills of material, and assemble tender packages.
  • Market Analysis & Pricing:
  • Research market prices for solar equipment to provide accurate quotations and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Technical Inspection:
  • Conducting on-site inspections and measurements to verify quantities and progress of work.
  • Technical Collaboration:
  • Collaboration with the Operation team, Procurement team and Finance Department to finish up the quotations.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure all project estimates and operations adhere to industry standards, building regulations, and health and safety requirements.

Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering or Solar/Renewable Energy Engineering.
  • 1–2 years of experience in Electrical QS.
  • Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and components used in solar PV systems.
  • Good personality and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Able to travelling.
  • Salary is up to 13L depending on experience.

Working Hours: 8:45 AM to 5:00 PM
Holidays: Sunday & Public Holidays
