Job Requirements
- Education: B.E/ B.Tech( Civil).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven working experience in a related Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering role.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (especially Excel for estimation).
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to collaborate within a team.
- Resilience: Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
Job Descriptions
- Material & Cost Control: Prepare material requisitions specifically for variation works and maintain meticulous daily logs of material entry and usage.
- Estimation & Claims Management: Calculate, prepare, and resolve project estimates, variation orders (VOs), and monthly progress claims.
- Subcontractor Management: Evaluate and verify subcontractors’ progress claims and variation orders for accuracy and fairness.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate cost codes for all project expenses; collaborate with the Head Office (HO) Senior QS on cost code analysis.
- Site Representation: Attend site meetings to proactively identify, capture, and document all potential variation works and ongoing claims.
- Reporting: Compile and deliver comprehensive weekly and monthly progress and cost reports.
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Holidays: Sunday & Gazetted holidays
